Part of this route goes on the same 4X4 track on its way up and down. But it is really worth to do if you are looking for a high mountain route, as it will bring you at more than 2000 m high above sea level, from where you will get some astonishing views of the Valle de Tena.
After reaching the end of the 4X4 track, a nice option is to carry on your way walking on a smaller path for around 1/2h in order to get to the small and beautiful mountain lake Ibonciecho.
You might still find some snow on the upper part of the 4X4 track on late spring.
