Hiking in Ordesa
2024 holiday dates and Stansted-Zaragoza flights on sale

With a dusting of snow now on the high peaks of the Pyrenees, this summer’s hiking season seems far behind us, and our thoughts turn to winter and next summer. Our 2024 hiking program has been published – you can view all of the dates here.

We’ve got our ever-popular dual-level guided holidays in the Valle de Tena and Ordesa National Park, as well as the Picos de Europa. This year we are running holidays in the Picos in both June and September as they are always really popular and sell out. All our trips are led by our team of experienced, qualified, local guides who love showing our guests these beautiful mountains and the wonderful wildlife and nature of the region.

We’ll also be offering two new guided itineraries next year. The first in the beautiful range called the Passes of Beceite and the other in Cerdanya in the Catalan Pyrenees. Details of these new holidays will be published on our website next week.

For self-guided hikers our most popular itineraries are our village-to-village routes in the high Pyrenees, Sierra de Guara and Passes of Beceite. All have fantastic hiking and scenery with traditional Spanish villages to stay in each night.

How to travel from London to Lourdes and Gavarnie by train

Travelling from London to the French Pyrenees by train to hike in the dramatic cirque of Gavarnie, is a relaxed way to reach the Pyrenees, avoiding flying and taking in the French scenery on the way. You can travel from London to Lourdes in a day, and from there the excellent hiking bases of Luz-Saint-Sauveur and Cauterets, where our French Pyrenees guided holiday is based, are nearby.
