Ordesa National Park

Bus timetable for Ordesa – summer 2025

Nestled in the heart of the Spanish Pyrenees, Ordesa National Park is a true gem for nature enthusiasts and hikers alike. With its dramatic limestone cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush forests, it’s no surprise that this UNESCO World Heritage site is often referred to as the 'Spanish Yosemite'.

A natural wonderland

Established in 1918, Ordesa was one of Spain’s first national parks, protecting the spectacular Ordesa Valley and its diverse wildlife. From the soaring peaks of Monte Perdido to the serene trails winding through beech and pine forests, every corner of the park offers something unique.

Visitors may spot a variety of wildlife, including the elusive bearded vulture, Pyrenean chamois, golden eagles, wallcreepers and marmots. In spring and summer, the meadows burst into colour with wildflowers, while autumn transforms the forests into a palette of gold and crimson.

2025 bus service schedule now available

Access to the majority of hikes in the Ordesa Valley itself is from an area known as 'La Pradera'.  During the peak season, private vehicles are not permitted to enter the Ordesa Valley, so the shuttle bus from Torla is the best way to access the park. This service helps protect the delicate ecosystem by reducing traffic and emissions. The maximum capacity of the Ordesa Valley is 1,800 simultaneous people. The public transport service will be suspended when this number is reached, for reasons of conservation of the National Park.

Buses run regularly (normally every 20 mins) from the car park in Torla to the Pradera de Ordesa. When the bus isn't running, you are allowed to drive up to the Pradera and park there.

We recommend checking the latest schedule and planning your visit in advance, especially during the summer months when the park is at its busiest. Below you can see the bus timetables and ticket prices:
