Throughout the week, we walked beneath towering limestone cliffs, followed paths through beautiful beech and pine forests, and hiked beside crystal-clear rivers and cascading waterfalls. The dramatic scenery of Ordesa never fails to impress me, however many times I return. With wildflowers lining the trails, birds of prey soaring overhead and spectacular viewpoints around almost every corner, there was always something new to discover.

We also spent a wonderful day exploring the Bujaruelo Valley. Its peaceful woodland paths, alpine meadows and historic Romanesque bridge make it one of the most picturesque corners of the Pyrenees. Surrounded by some of the highest peaks along the Spanish–French border, it is always one of my favourite places to share with our guests.

Another unforgettable day took us to the summit of Pico Pelopín. From the top, we were rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views across Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, the Tena Valley and countless Pyrenean peaks stretching towards the horizon. Standing together on the summit, with mountains in every direction, was undoubtedly one of the defining moments of the week.

Despite the warm temperatures, the group approached every hike with enthusiasm, curiosity and plenty of good humour. There was no shortage of laughter along the trails, and each day brought new discoveries, spectacular scenery and memorable moments shared in the mountains.
