August with Hike Pyrenees

We hope everybody had an ejoyable August what ever you got up to, we certainly did! The sun continued to shine here as we welcomed more guests to the beautiful Pyrenees, many of which have already decided they want to  come back!

In amongst our guided holidays, Phil, Anna, Ken and and myself also managed little holidays in various places of our own. Below is a selection of all holidays guided or had in August.

Dual level Valle de Tena

Every day we offered out 2 levels of guided hiking taking in the very best of the Pyrenees. The weather was super and the scenery didn´t disappoint!

A bespoke refugio trip

Whilst Ken and myself disappeard to the Alps, Phil ran a bespoke 2 day refugio trip staying in Refugio Respomuso. The way up was just about the wettest he´d ever seen in the Pyrenees! Thankfully the second day up and over Pico Musales (2654m) was absolutely worth it. The views were amazing!

The Alps

Meanwhile, Ken myself and Inca made it to the Alps and had a great break climbing in France, Switzerland and Italy!

Cataluyna

Phil, Anna, Isabel and Christopher went to explore the volcanic Garrotxa area in Cataluyna and visited the beautiful medieval towns of Besalu and Castellfollit de la Roca perched high on the cliffs.

Lakes & Valleys and Peaks & Passes

To finish off August we had 2 holidays in the same week. Ronan from Ireland was as fit as a mountain goat so we explored many high mountains with him. The Lakes and Valley team also prooved them selves to be super fit and keen and even went canyoning on their day off!

If you haven´t yet, remember to find us on facebook and give us a like so we can share more pitures with you!

See you soon!….
