Sea of clouds south of Panticosa

Great skiing at Panticosa

Skied at Panticosa today – snow was superb. Best I’ve seen this season with loads of light powder off piste.

Usually I ski at Formigal which is bigger but today Panticosa was bathed in sun and looked really inviting so turned off and headed there.

It’s a really pretty resort tucked under the cliffs of Tendeñera and with great views to the north

This is the view looking north to Pic du Midi d’Ossau just over the border in France.

Sun was out and the views were wonderful. This is Ibon de Sabacos and Montaña del verde – popular hikes in the summer.
Really good day out.

  1. Hi Ken,
I’ve seen quite a few pictures on twitter of plenty of snow in Scotland. Nevis range saying how there’s all the snow they want but winds were too high to start the lifts.
Hopefully the sun will be out for you soon. Not too great here at the moment – snowy but not that many clear days.
