Panticosa is centred around a thirteenth century church. With narrow streets winding around traditional stone buildings. Ideally located in the heart of the Valle de Tena, Panticosa makes a great base from which to explore the walking in the region. The village has several bars and restaurants, as well as a few shops and a supermarket selling all the necessities.
At the bottom of the village a gondola heads up to the ski resort above. In July and August the gondola operates for walkers. From the top station there are a couple of good walks and a cafe where you can relax with a beer or a coffee and soak in the views over the valley.
The village has an outdoor pool which is open in July and August and an indoor pool open the rest of the year (excluding September). The indoor pool complex also has a sauna and a steam room in which you can relax any tired muscles after walking.
