An undisputed highlight of the Pyrenees, the Ordesa National Park remains undiscovered for many British walkers. The varied landscape of the park includes dramatic glacial valleys, a dozen peaks over three thousand metres and cliff top paths that will take your breath away.

Northern Spains most spectacular castle was built in the 11th century to resist the Moorish occupation. More recently Loarre's towers and dungeons have been used as the setting for the film 'Kingdom of Heaven'. With commanding views over the plains to the south and surrounding by spectacular cliffs, a visit to Loarre can be combined with a days hiking for a great day out.
