Our independent hiking weeks are designed to help you enjoy the spectacular scenery on your own. We'll take the hassles out of your holiday by picking you up at the airport, arranging accommodation and providing transport to local trailheads every day.

Planning Pack

Before you leave the UK we'll send you the best hiking map of the area along with route descriptions for the best hikes in the area. While you're away we're nearby if you'd like to advice on trails, tomorrow's weather forecast or to borrow a guidebook to the fabulous birds of prey you'll see every day.

Accommodation

Accommodation is in the family run Hotel Casa Morlans in Panticosa. From here there are many beautiful walks of all levels in the Valley De Tena. The Ordesa National Park is nearby and it's spectacular canyons are home to more fantastic hiking - including the cliff hugging 'faja' paths guaranteed to take your breath away.

Suggested Routes

Your free to walk whichever routes you choose but we'll suggest some of the highlights of the area. Route descriptions will be provided and most paths are well marked but these are unguided walks and a good sense of direction and map reading ability are essential.

Faja de las Flores
One of the most spectacular paths in Europe the Faja de las Flores is a narrow balcony cut into the sheer cliffs of the Ordesa valley. Breathtaking views of the valley, Mount Perdido and the valley floor a dizzying 1000m below.

Punto Pacino
A beautiful ascent through woodland and meadows to the peak of Punta Del Pacino. It's position at the centre of the valley gives fabulous 360 panoramic views of the Valle De Tena and the surrounding peaks.

Ibon de Sabacoc
In July & August a gondola lift takes you from Panticosa up to almost 2000m. From here we can wander amongst the high peaks to the mountain lakes of Ibon de Sabocos and Ibon de los Asnos.

Ibones Azules
North of Panticosa lies a wild area full of jagged summits and lakes. There are a number of great trails including the Ibones Azules or Pico de la Muga (2675m) on the French border that has truly fabulous views.
