Update: visit our new Pyrenees weather forecast page for up to date forecasts and information on the most accurate forecasts for the Pyrenees

I find snow-forecast.com an excellent site with very reliable forecasts for the Pyrenees. They’ve just launched a sister service mountain-forecast.com which includes lots of peaks in the Pyrenees.

I’ve been looking at the forecasts for a couple of weeks and they look pretty accurate. There are forecasts for peaks in both Ordesa and the Valle de Tena. Forecasts that will be useful for Hike Pyrenees guests are Balaitous, Pic du Midi d’Ossau and Pena Telera in the Valle de Tena. In the Ordesa National Park there are forecasts for Monte Perdido and Taillon.

These summits are among the highest in the area so don’t be surprised some pretty chilly temperatures on the summits – things are much warmer in Panticosa, Biescas and Torla.
