We would like to hike some of THE WAY or scenic hikes in the
Pyranees this spring...May/June. We are senior, experienced
hikers (Dolomites, Mt.Blanc, WestHighlandWay) recent hikes...
We would need accomodations booked...reasonable days of
hiking (depending on the terraine) maps, etc. Is this something
we can hire you to prepare? We love small villages, mountains,
and meeting interesting locals. We can easily be self-contained
and prefer to be...don't require guide services, just information to
help us navigate and see the BEST areas in the time we have to
spend. I think 2-3 weeks would suit us fine...we can fly into
Barcelona if that works. We enjoy good food, wine, and sunshine.
Let us know what you can do for us. Jinny with thanks

Hi Phil, Happy New Year and hope its a good one for Hike Pyrenees! The photos are fantastic as ever and the touring/snowshoeing looks very appealing though not something i have ever done. Weather in Britain over New year was awful, we went upto Skye for a week and was restricted to an afternoon's walking and the only views! Winds in excess of 100mph trees down everywhere and cloud down to loch level.Oh to be around Portalet. Cheers and all the best, Ian.

Hey guys! Cool blog and great to find some more fellow travel bloggers out there. Although I'm some way off being able to afford a self-catering apartment right now it's certainly something I'm looking forward to doing in the future. Thanks for reminding me!

Did you guys have a Belen in your house then?

I don't get what's so dang appealing about them myself. Luckily, living in Extremadura and leaving for the UK on Dec.9, I didn't catch too many of them. I'm back soon though. Wonder if they'll still be there?
